Students who join this workshop will be able to showcase their work at the ALAMEDA COUNTY FAIR this summer! Join the program, have your work printed, and be a part of the group show!
While students are on a mid semester break from school, let’s keep them active, creative, and have FUN while learning all about the art of photography! We will touch on the basics of photography, learning how the camera works, and dive into some activities to inspire their creativity with the camera!
CLASS TIME/LOCATION:
Hours: 10 AM to 3 PM
Location: Varies by day - all East Bay Locations (Berkeley, Oakland, Emeryville)
CAMERA EQUIPMENT PROVIDED
Spring Break Class Highlights:
Understand the basic components of a camera and how to handle it with confidence.
Dive into the fundamental principles of composition and framing.
Creative activities to experience new perspectives and practice different genres (nature, street, storytelling, macro)
Collaborate to bring together a mini-exhibit/show for family and friends.
