Nature Photography - Youth (ALL LEVELS)

AGES: 12 to 18 years old
Embark on a five-day journey into the genre of nature photography! This genre-focused class is designed to take students to new places and inspire them to explore with their cameras! This is a physically active (we will be hiking and walking throughout the week!) and hands-on class that introduces aspiring young photographers to the art of photographing the natural world. Students will expand upon the fundamentals (exposure, composition, etc.) and fine-tune their existing photography skills!
Summer Camp Highlights:
- Composition Principles: Understanding the rule of thirds, leading lines, framing, and other composition techniques to create visually engaging nature and landscape photographs. 
- Depth of Field: Exploring the use of aperture, focal length, and focusing techniques to control depth of field and create impactful images with foreground, midground, and background details. 
- Visual Language: Learning how to use visual elements such as light, color, texture, and patterns to strengthen imagery. 
- Field Excursions and Photo Walks: Applying classroom knowledge in real-world settings and refining composition and depth of field skills under guidance.
