One-Week Summer Camp
A supportive introduction to photography for beginners and curious creatives
This one-week Fundamentals camp is designed for students who are new to photography or looking for a clear, confidence-building refresher. Campers will learn how to use their camera with intention while exploring composition, light, and creative problem-solving in a supportive, encouraging environment.
Throughout the week, students will practice essential camera settings, learn how to see strong photographs, and experiment with creative assignments that make learning fun and accessible. The focus is on building comfort with the camera, understanding how images are made, and developing the confidence to keep shooting independently.
This program is ideal for first-time campers, younger students, or those who want a shorter commitment while still gaining meaningful skills and creative momentum.
We will venture to places like Land’s End, Golden Gate Park, the UC Berkeley Botanical Gardens, and the Ferry Building!
